Send Your Puppy To School…
What is Puppy Day School?
Puppy Day School is the worry-free break all new puppy people need. Drop your puppy off at our training center and relax (or get some work done), while we continue the training that you have learned in our classes. Puppy Day School follows weekly themes that focus on socialization, puppy nipping (gentle mouths, please), and practicing basic cues. Puppies will also be exposed to all sorts of novel stimuli (which is essential for them to be comfortable in our human world) while they enjoy ample trainer-moderated playtime with new puppy pals. Your dog will leave feeling like they got to enjoy spin class, study hall, and a party! Your puppy will leave each day with a report card & an adorable picture!
Puppy Day School is meant to complement training done at home. Take a peek at your report card each day for ideas about things to continue to build on during your own playtime with your dog.
Puppy Day School Age Requirement: 10-weeks to 4.5-months old. **see puppy sidebar below
Where: Our training facility at 76 West 85th Street APT A (just off of Columbus).
When: Puppy Day Schools run everyday Monday and Thursday from 2pm to 4:45pm.
Important Note: Puppies are individuals and group training is NOT for every puppy. Be ready on your puppy’s first day of school to come pick them up if we call - we’ll explain options about what is best for your pup! This is very rare.
Pricing: $140/single day and $1,200/10-pack. Currently booked in class or private training? Check out our packages for a discount.
Puppy Day School is not meant to replace owner-participation in teaching their puppy. It is designed to enhance and expedite training and socialization.
**Puppy Sidebar: Our Puppy activities are vet recommended! Due to puppyhood vaccination schedules, it is very important that pups avoid encountering pathogens. Although no place is ever 100% free of risk, we take great care to clean and sanitize our facility to prevent exposure. All of our puppy activities are designed with this type of safety in mind, so that your puppy has the opportunity to get the socialization they need before it is too late. It is essential to find safe ways to socialize your puppy between 2 and 4 months of age. Puppies are NOT taken on outdoor walks during programs.
