Puppy Day School

Puppy People need a BREAK sometimes.

Drop your pup off with us, for a few hours of play-based dog training. We’ll work on building resilience, socialization, improving their training, and every other thing that comes up while they are with us. We’ll also keep our trained eyes on alert to spot preventable behavior problems and nip them in the bud. Day School is meant to complement the training you are already doing (so get thee to a group class too), while giving you well-deserved break to do something else for a little while.

Oh yeah, and they’re usually very satisfied mentally and physically after day school.
Which means, you can enjoy some snuggles on the couch instead of chasing them around the house afterward.

Some Details about Puppy Day School:

  • This is for puppies between 10-weeks and 4.5months (aka 18-weeks). Got a pup that’s older? Go here.

  • Location: 76 West 85th Street APT A (just off of Columbus).

  • We keep class sizes very small, and day school is awesome. That means that it sells out, so if you need it on a particular day, book it asap.

  • Puppy Day School runs three times per week.

  • We feed treats during day school, so it is best to slightly reduce your dog’s rations before and after coming to school, and let us know about allergies!

  • You need to drop your puppy off and pick them up. Check out the timing when you book it.

  • If you are in range, we can come and get your puppy and return them home. (Range: Between W80th and W90th and between Riverside Drive and Central Park West).

Important Note: Every puppy is a unique individual with their own preferences and needs. It’s rare, but once in awhile a puppy doesn’t immediately love day school, and that’s okay. If your pup seems stressed or uncomfortable we’ll call you. Be prepared to return early on your pup’s first day, just in case.

Pricing: $140/single day and $1,200/10-pack. Currently booked in class or private training? Check out our packages for a discount.

Every trainer we have met here has seemed like a true dog lover and excited to help us with our journey […] It feels not just like a training school, but a community for me and my puppy.”

**Puppy Sidebar: Our Puppy activities are vet recommended! Due to puppyhood vaccination schedules, it is very important that pups avoid encountering pathogens. Although no place is ever 100% free of risk, we take great care to clean and sanitize our facility to prevent exposure. All of our puppy activities are designed with this type of safety in mind, so that your puppy has the opportunity to get the socialization they need before it is too late. It is essential to find safe ways to socialize your puppy between 2 and 4 months of age.

Due to disease-risks, puppies are NOT taken on outdoor walks during programs.
